appy thoughts are extremely powerful and should not be underestimated. Throughout the course of a day we have absolutely thousands of thoughts, but unfortunately not all of them are positive. It is a well known fact that happy people actually have far more happy and positive thoughts than that of people who are unhappy. Through thinking positively we are given far greater clarity, and the confidence and courage to face the day ahead. Through our positive and happy way of thinking we are able to determine our own path rather than follow others. Unfortunately through negative thoughts such as anger, jealousy and fear we are thrown off our own path, and we lose the ability to think and act effectively. If we try to think happy thoughts as opposed to unhappy ones we are able to achieve far greater things in our lives. We are capable of being a happier and less negative person overall.
Being happy provides us with an exciting future, whereas through thinking negatively and being unhappy we become stuck within a vicious circle. We end up continuously fearful and are afraid and therefore act defensively. This can actually push people away from us. This can create more problems for us, as we become lonely and even more afraid.
Through happy thoughts the path in life is therefore clearer, it makes us feel better straight away and can actually lead us to become stronger and more stable people in life. We are fully in control and cannot be pushed around. Yes there will be negative aspects and bad days, but learning to take something positive from them and learning not to be dragged down with negativity will allow you to stay on the path to happiness. Unfortunately stress plays a big part in negative and positive thinking. If the stress builds and we do not get rid of it then it can even lead to health problems. Positive thinking is one of the best ways to relieve stress. It is therefore worth learning some techniques on how to think more positively.
Thinking is automatic. So therefore it will take time and effort to change our thoughts, but that doesn't mean it is impossible. Throughout the day take a moment to reflect on your thoughts. When you are thinking of something negatively then get rid of it and think of happy thoughts instead. As the day goes on keep reminding yourself of positive things, over and over. You will soon start to automatically think more positive and therefore learn to live a happier, healthier and longer life with happy thoughts.
