Long term goals are those important goals that you are deciding you would like to achieve after a considerable period of time. They might be what you want to have in your life in five years for example, which might include where you want to live, what sort of job you have or what you have become knowledgeable in being able to do.
To set these long term goals you need to use the principles of setting smart goals.
1.Specific- All goals are more likely to be achieved when you have made them specific and this is true of long term goals too. Don't state them in vague terms. For example rather than ' I want to live by the sea' state specifically in which town and country and in what sort of residence would you like to live.
2.Measurable- This follows on from a specific goal and is about how will you know when you've achieved this. It might be something like wanting to lose a certain amount of weight so that you will know by the number on the scales if you have managed to do this. So make sure you set yourself a way of measuring the goal to confirm that you've achieved it.
3.Achievable- With long term goal you may think it is almost unlikely that you can actually reach your outcome that you want. Take a step back and ask yourself whether you could actually get to where you want in that time and with the amount of work and dedication you are putting towards your goal.
4.Realistic- This goes with the last tip. Ask yourself if your time lapse is a reasonable one, or is it either too long or too short to get to where you want to in life. Some people spend their whole lives regretting they didn't become something or someone who they could never have become. Don't aim to be a ballet dancer if your are tall and clumsy and past the age for good dancers to perform. That would be unachievable as well as unrealistic!
5.Timed- Make sure you define the date by when you want to achieve your long term goal. Put it in your diary or somewhere where you can see it and have check in dates such as 'half finished by this date.' In this way you can keep yourself on track to get moving towards your long term goal.

Sometimes a lack of self-confidence stems merely from a lack of experience. You may not feel so confident about taking the SAT test or acting in a stage play if you've never done it before. These feelings will change as you grow and experience more things in your life.
Sometimes, however, a lack of self-confidence can stem from feelings of insecurity. Sometimes we have bad feelings about ourselves and we bury them deep inside. When we do this, we tend not to assert ourselves and take chances because we fear our "secrets" will be revealed.
If your lack of self-confidence stems from bad feelings you harbor about yourself, you are also experiencing something perfectly normal and common. But it's a normal feeling that you can and should change!
Identify the Cause for Your Lack of Self-Confidence
If you have a fear that people will see your perceived shortcoming, you will find it difficult to assert yourself. Your shortcoming or vulnerability may have to do with your looks, your size, your perceived intelligence, your past, or your family experience.
In building self-confidence, your first goal is to develop a realistic understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. You’ll have to take a difficult first step and look inside yourself to discover where and why you feel vulnerable.
Face Your Fear Head-On
To get started on your self-exploration, go to a quiet and comfortable place and think about the things that make you feel bad about yourself. These things could stem from your complexion, weight, a bad habit, a family secret, abusive behavior in your family, or a feeling of guilt over something you’ve done. It can be painful to think about the root of your bad feelings, but it is healthy to root out something that is hidden deep inside and to work through it.
Once you have identified the things you feel bad or secretive about, you’ll need to determine what you can do to change them. Should you change your eating habits? Exercise? Read a self-help book? Any action you take—even the act of thinking about your problem—is a step toward getting it out in the open and eventually healing.
Once you have a full understanding of your problem, your fear decreases. When the fear goes away, the hesitation goes away and you can and will start asserting yourself more.
Celebrate Your Strengths
It's not enough to identify your weaknesses or your problem areas. You also have great aspects about yourself that you need to explore! You can start doing this by making a big list of things you have accomplished and the things you do well. Have you ever taken the time to explore your strengths?
You were born with some natural talent, whether you have discovered it or not. Do you always make people laugh? Are you artistic? Can you organize things? Do you navigate well? Do you remember names?
All of these traits are things that can become very valuable as you get older. They are skills that are absolutely essential in community organizations, in church, in college, and on the job. If you can do any of them well, you have traits to cherish!
Once you have taken the two steps above, identifying your vulnerability and identifying your greatness, you will start feeling an increase in your confidence. You decrease your anxiety by facing your fears, and you start liking yourself better by celebrating your natural strengths.
Change Your Behavior
Behavioral psychologists say that we can change our feelings by changing our behavior. For instance, some studies have shown that we become happier if we walk around with a smile on our faces.
You can speed up your path to increased self-confidence by changing your behavior.
•Try smiling more. This will help you fight off feelings of negativity.
•Compliment others on their strengths. You’ll find that other people will return the favor and compliment you back. We all like to hear good things about ourselves!
•Exercise and get enough sleep. Both of these behavioral traits improve our moods. You’ll feel better inside and outside and look better too!
•Take time every night to plan for the next day. By planning ahead we avoid mistakes that make us feel bad about ourselves. Think through the next day to avoid minor malfunctions that could embarrass you.
Use a Third Person Approach
There is an interesting study that shows that there may be a trick to meeting our behavioral goals more quickly. The trick? Think about yourself in the third person as you evaluate your progress.
The study measured the progress in two groups of people who were attempting to make a positive change in their lives. The people who participated in this study were divided into two groups. One group was encouraged to think in the first person. The second group was encouraged to think of their progress from an outsider’s point of view.
Interestingly, the participants who thought about themselves from an outsider’s perspective enjoyed a faster path to improvement.
As you go through the process of improving your self-image and increasing your self-confidence, try to think of yourself as a separate person. Picture yourself as a stranger who is on a path toward positive change. Be sure to celebrate this person’s accomplishments!

STEP ONE - TAKE INVENTORY OF YOUR LIFE NOW: First thing to do when setting out to make change is to evaluate where you are right now. So, for at least one week (but doing it for two weeks would be better), notice how and where you spend your time. Also, notice if things take longer than you "think" they should take you. Don't place any judgment on how and where you spend time, just notice. Be sure to include weekends so you have a variety between work days and non-work days. Keep this step simple. Don't try to change anything. Just notice your time commitments.
STEP TWO - CATEGORIZE HOW YOU SPEND YOUR TIME: Now let's categorize each area of your life where time is currently spent. A personal development plan sample that I like has the following categories:
STEP THREE - DREAM ABOUT YOUR PERFECT LIFE: Give yourself permission to take a few moments to dream about your perfect life. While this is only imagination, this exercise opens a portal of inner knowledge that can lead you to your perfect life. Don't judge any of your dreams. These are your true feelings and ones that will guide you in your own proper direction.
STEP FOUR - MATCH UP YOUR IDEAL LIFE WITH YOUR CURRENT LIFE: After visualizing where you would like to take your life, compare it with your current life. Be prepared for this step to cause some pain if there is a big difference between the two. But, this step gives you a "starting point" and an "ending point," both of which are necessary to set out plans to get from one to the other.
STEP FIVE - ASK, "WHAT SMALL CHANGE CAN I MAKE NOW THAT WILL ALTER MY OVERALL LIFE TRAJECTORY?" Many times making a small change in your current circumstances has stronger ramifications as your life unfolds because it changes your focus. For example, if you decide to take a 15 minute daily walk just to "percolate" how to take the next step for your life, this small action will move your current mindset from "I'm stuck now" to "What's next and how do I get there?" Over time, this will gain momentum as your trajectory of life broadens because your "rocket" is now pointed to a new planet - the planet of hope!
STEP SIX - FIND A GOOD PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN TEMPLATE FOR DETAILED PLANNING: There are many personal development plan samples, examples and templates available today. Look for one that keeps it simple because one of the things I have found that is a hinderance when people develop a personal development plan is that they make it too complicated - which, of course, leads to overwhelm and failure.
STEP SEVEN - GET PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN COACHING: When you are planning out a major event such as your life, it's a good time to get an objective view of yourself, which is one of the best things about using a coach. Strategizing with someone in this manner can rapidly increase your success rate when you want to develop a personal development plan. Often times, a coach will also have a good example personal development plan.
STEP EIGHT - GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO MAKE THE CHANGES: Often times what stops people from success when they develop a personal development plan is underestimating the time it takes to set goals and make changes. When this happens, it's easy to get discouraged and give up. So, one of the best things you can do is to give yourself plenty of time to make change.
STEP NINE - VISUALIZE YOUR DESIRED RESULTS: Visualization is very powerful, but there is one important component to doing visualization that many people miss. That component is to actually feel the scenario that you are visualizing. This one portion makes the difference between success and failure.
STEP TEN - HAVE FUN: Many times we get overly serious when trying to make changes in our lives. This serious point of view takes all the joy out of the endeavor and joy is also a critical factor when seeking goal achievement.

Doing this exercise regularly, you will begin to develop your money consciousness systematically.
On giving your attention to it within only 2-3 times per week for 15 minutes, and your unconscious sphere will look money for you by itself.
An added bonus of this exercise is to create the fertile ground for thinking of a wealthy man.

Exercise is named “The List attracting money”
Find a quiet place where you cannot be distracted for about 15-20 minutes.
On a blank sheet of A4 write the title with your own hand: I need money for:
Under this heading you should write a list of everything that you need. Put into this list the desired car, apartment, luxury items, etc. It is strongly not recommended to fetter yourself in the desire within this list. The article “One can always dream. Nothing can stop him” will help you in compiling of the “working” list. Let your list consists of 20-30 items. More items are also possible)))
Write the value of the item next to each of them in a convenient currency for you.
As a result of your actions you will have a wish list with the specified value. Now you can summarize it for clarity.
That’s all! Exercise is completed.

The secret is simple!
Firstly, when you write a list you turn on the fantasy and you begin to visualize it unconsciously – it adjusts your unconscious sphere of the movement to the result.
Second, when you are composing a list, Monetary Law number 1 starts working. This law states: “You have as much money as you need.” The list actualizes the needs and, as a result, the pulling of money and the listed benefits to your life begins. More details about all the laws of money, and how to use them you can receive on the trainings “secrets of success and abundance.”
In conclusion, I want to say that many people use the exercise “List of attracting money” as a regular method to attract money into their life.

The law of attraction works with very basic principles. In order to understand how the law of attraction works and how you can use it effectively, you must understand the importance of thoughts and feelings. Your thoughts and feelings are always playing a role in your life. Once you understand the relationship between your thoughts and feelings, you will be able to use the law of attraction to your advantage and create any type of life you want to live.
First, you need to learn about the nature of thoughts and the nature of feelings. Thoughts trigger feelings. Without specific thoughts, there can be no specific feelings. When you think positive thoughts you feel good and when you think negative thoughts you feel bad.
If you would like to use the law of attraction to your advantage, you simply need to guide your thoughts towards subjects that make you feel good. The more you direct your attention to subjects that make you feel good, the better your life experience will become.
It is all about you aligning yourself with what you are wanting. Once you are in harmony with what you are wanting, what you are wanting will have to become your reality. In order to align yourself with what you are wanting though, you will need to learn about a few powerful tricks you can use on a regular basis to move towards the fulfillment of your dreams.
One of the most powerful techniques you can use to harness the power of the law of attraction is visualization. Visualization is the simple process of creating a reality within your mind that is synonymous with what you are wanting. By imagining what you are wanting in your mind, and by experiencing what you are wanting in your mind, you can harmonize with what you are wanting and speed up the manifestation process.
The way you feel is truly the all important factor though, because your current life experience is constantly molding to properly match the way you feel. If you feel good right now, you are attracting good feeling experiences into your life. If you ever feel bad, you will be attracting bad feeling experiences into your life. For this reason, you should do your best to give all of your attention to thoughts that make you feel good and do your best to make yourself feel good whenever you can.
The way you feel is also important, because the current life experience you are living must abide by the way you feel. If you purposely improve upon the way you feel, your life experience will have to change to match the new way you feel. If you focus on what you want and find the feeling of having what you want, but then you leave your dream and start giving all of your attention to your current reality, you will slow down the manifestation process. If you give all of your attention to what you want and you continue to give your attention to what you want as often as possible, what you want will race towards you very quickly.
So, if you would like to start using the law of attraction right now and achieve amazing results, simply use your thoughts to find a way to make yourself feel consistently good. Once you feel consistently good, your life experience will have to bring you experiences that make you feel good, because it is law. The law of attraction is the attraction between similar things. When you feel good, you are attracting experiences that will make you feel good and when you feel consistently good, the majority of the things you attract during each day will have to make you feel good.

Searching for Purpose
Are you searching for a purpose to your life? Well, let me ask you a question: "Do you know what makes you tick?"
Do you know what you want?
It sounds like an easy question, doesn't it? But for many of us, we have become so disconnected from our own hearts and identities that we don't even know what makes us excited any more. As babies we are born with an innate and immediate sense of what we want - FOOD! And MOM! And SLEEP! As we grow, we know which toy we want to play with, which food we want to eat and which we do not! But then, we encounter the world of 'public opinion' and we are told what we 'should and should not' want. How much of who we are today has been moulded by strong individuals around us (parents, teachers, coaches, employers, even pastors) who have told us who they think we are and what they think we should like?
Your internal GPS
This can have a very damaging effect on our sense of purpose - because our internal GPS is our personal joy. The thing that gives us a buzz, that makes us feel alive - this is what we should be doing. For some that might be an activity (sports, writing, teaching) or for others a way of interacting with others (making people laugh, listening to hurt people, inspiring others to be their best selves).
Living the dream
We have to shrug off the 'shoulds' and silence the 'never coulds' and think about the 'what ifs' of life. The dream is to be able to make a living at something you love. Being paid to do something that you would do anyway - that's the way to make life work for you and to feel purposeful. So get out a pen and paper and start to write down the times when you've felt most alive. Then go back and look at them again - what do they have in common? What are the themes? Can you get your internal GPS back on track by tuning into the things that deliver a great big dose of energy straight into your heart?

In this article, we'll explore a centuries-old practice that's recently been updated through extensive scientific research by The Institute of HeartMath®. This practice is "Inner Smiling." It is a powerful way to reduce stress, improve your health and immune response, stay calm in the midst of chaos, and connect with inner clarity and intuitive guidance.
While The Institute of HeartMath® does not call their technique Inner Smiling (they call it HeartMath® and speak of generating "core heart feelings"), as a teacher of a meditation style in which Inner Smiling is prominent, I recognize essential similarities in these approaches. The basis of Inner Smiling is actively self-generating acceptance, gratitude, care, and trust. In Qigong ("chee-gung") or energy meditation we do this throughout our body as a whole, while HeartMath® has discovered the power of focusing on your heart while you generate these feelings.
Here are some of the benefits of Inner Smiling. It can lower your blood pressure, calm your nervous system, improve hormone balance, improve your brain function, and give a positive feeling of well-being. These effects begin by bringing heart rhythms into balance. This facilitates coherent brainwaves and integrated whole brain function. Generating an inner smile also brings your parasympathetic nervous system online, which is your relaxation and recovery mode.
When your "relaxation response" is active, your levels of muscle tension decrease, your digestive system receives more blood for doing its job well, and your immune system gets the energy it needs to function at a peak level. Your higher level brain functions also come online. This is in contrast to when you feel fear and stress, which actually shuts down your higher brain functions. So, how do you practice Inner Smiling?
Here are four simple steps:
1. Close your eyes and take several slow deep breaths.
2. Imagine that you are breathing in and out through your heart to focus your attention there.
3. Smile into your heart with acceptance, appreciation, gratitude, and care.
4. Imagine and feel your Inner Smile expanding from your heart to infuse every cell in your body.
To help you generate Inner Smiling in your heart and your body as a whole, you can bring to mind someone whom you care for unconditionally, such as a parent, spouse, child, or pet. Or recall something that you love to do or someone who makes you smile. Bring your appreciation for those people, pets, or events, into your heart and then send it outward into your whole body.
If you find this challenging at first, you might spend a little extra time focusing on breathing deeply in and out through your heart. Allow any feelings of tension or irritation to dissolve in your breath. Then, imagine someone or something you effortlessly appreciate or simply accept yourself and whatever is happening unconditionally. Be grateful for "what is."
Just putting a subtle smile on your lips may be enough to bring an Inner Smile into your body. Inner Smiling is a doorway to feeling your inner essence and transforming your life from the inside out.

Have you ever asked someone what they were doing, and they replied to you; "I am just killing some time." I'd like you to think about that for a second and understand how unfortunate it really is. People actually believe that sometimes it is necessary to kill time while anticipating and waiting for a certain event coming up in the future, and they have completed whatever other tasks they think they should be doing. The reality is if you are not doing something, you should be learning something, or you should be thinking.
Anytime you are awake you should be using your mind for a positive purpose, never killing time, or finding something that will keep you busy, such as watching mindless television shows, or just sitting there vegetating. You see, if you don't respect your time, you'll never have enough of it. It is amazing how many people look at some of the things I've done in my life, and they ask me; "don't you ever sleep?" Of course, I do, along with everyone else on this planet. In fact, I probably sleep more than the average person I'd say.
Time is a lot like money, and many people say that; "time is money" and in many regards that is true. After all people trade their time for money, and then they use their money to free up time from medial tasks, often to make even more money. I am quite certain you understand that scenario. I'd go so far as to say that if you don't respect time, you probably don't respect money, and if that is the case you will probably never have enough of either of those. And there is really no one to blame for wasting your time, or wasting your money, if you fail to respect time or money, than yourself.
Thus, you should never think that it is necessary to kill time, or be bored waiting for something to happen. Even if you were sitting at the airport waiting for a plane to arrive, so you can board that aircraft to go somewhere, you should have something to do, you should be learning something, or contemplating something for your future.
Perhaps you might start a conversation with someone that could lead to something great in the future. You never know, but you should be thinking positive about time management, and never consider the need to kill time. It is my sincere hope that you will please consider all this and think on it, because time is a terrible thing to waste, it shouldn't be killed.

No matter what you want to achieve in life the surest way to succeed is to have a passion for it. When your heart rules, your head will follow. This is true in just about any new endeavor in any field, whether it be business or play.
Passion rules. But alongside passion, sits optimism and knowing what you want. When you have that fervor inside and you can see the final result in your mind, your optimism will make you creative in setting guidelines to reach your goal.
Look at the professionals in any sport. Basketball's Shaquille O'Neal has a definite passion for his sport and has become one of the leading stars in the NBA today. His skill was only attained because he had the passion to follow his heart and an optimistic attitude to be the best in his field.
Bill Gates is another example of how passion was set in motion. His emotional attachment to his vision made him the business magnate he is today with Microsoft. And so it goes with successful people. Their sheer optimistic desire fires them on to be the best they can.
Now, we may not have visions of such magnitude, but don't you have some passions that you haven't yet acted on? In your heart have you wanted to learn to paint, be creative with arts and crafts, or learn to play a musical instrument? Some people go to plays and think, "I wish I'd done some acting when I had the chance in high school. If I were up on that stage, I'd probably be good at it and I'd have a blast." Well, what's holding you back? Do you have a hidden passion for these sort of things?
How about learning to dance? Have you ever tried tap, jazz, or clogging? There are free online clogging lessons available for you to learn the basic dance steps at home at your own pace to fire up that desire you have to learn to dance. You may even want to learn with a friend and be accountable to each other. Double the desire, double the fun.
No matter what your passion, follow your heart and your head will follow. Until you give it a try, you don't know how far that "fever" can take you. Be optimistic and your creativity will flow. Go follow your passions. Yes you can. Go. Do. Enjoy.

When you need to run a certain module, you have to equip yourself with proper techniques and skills so as not to ruin your credibility. As their boss, your people expect that you are good in everything that you do. So you need to be well prepared, the following tips can help you be the right person in front:
1. Posture - You want to stand up straight but not stiff. Your feet should be pointed at the audience with your weight evenly distributed. So not shift your weight from one foot to the other because this can distract the audience.
2. Movement - Typically, speakers tend to stand in one spot with their feet rooted to the ground like a tree. It is much more interesting if you take an occasional step to either side or move a little bit closer to the audience for emphasis. You do not want to pace, but some movement can enhance your presentation.
3. Look at your audience - Eye contact is very important. Look at your audience. This does not mean glancing at the group every once in a while; it means talk with them and look at them. Look directly at individuals in the audience. This will permit you to relate your information to them instead of at them.
4. Speak clearly - enunciate every necessary sound in every word. That way the audience will be able to follow you as you speak to them.
5. Use appropriate gestures - Gestures are used for emphasis in normal conversation without any thought. Learn to gesture in front of an audience exactly as you would if you were having an animated conversation with a friend. The importance of natural gestures cannot be overstated. It is an important part of communication.
6. Be knowledgeable and be prepared - your planning and preparation of the presentation should also include anticipating ideas or questions. This will prepare you to handle questions, objections and rebuttals with confidence.
7. Watch and listen for feedback - Regardless of how much you plan and practice the presentation, you should be prepared for the actual presentation to be somewhat different. The alert speaker is on the lookout for feedback. If the audience looks confused on a certain point, you can assist by adding a statement, or repeating the last point you made.

There's no doubt that affirmations and visualization are extremely important tools for guiding us towards various successes. What isn't talked about very often is that there is one critical ingredient which can make the experience more powerful but it can also create a much more lasting and profound effect. The missing ingredient is the emotional intensity that music can add to our mental exercises.
Movie producers and advertisers have long known about the power and the persuasive ability of music to influence emotional states. The use of music can make a scene in a movie much more powerful by complementing the subject matter of the scene and adding a certain mood to it. Advertisers also use music in an effort to get consumers to identify with the product and of course to have a more memorable impression. The same can be done with your attempts at increasing the emotional intensity of affirmations and visualization.
The problem with just stating affirmations to yourself is that it often lacks emotional intensity. Sometimes it seems as if you are just repeating the same mantra to yourself over and over and you wonder if this is really going to be a worthwhile endeavor. But, when you play a song you believe to be inspirational at the same time you are reciting your affirmations or when you are actively engaged in visualizing an outcome you desire, the experience becomes much more powerful.
That's what will make the difference in terms of cementing a belief in yourself and what you are about to undertake. You want your affirmations and visualization experiences to be so powerful that the hair literally stands up on the back of your neck. When you use music as a complement to your mental exercises, you amplify the experience and you more powerfully reinforce subconsciously what it is that you are trying to achieve. Your visualizations and affirmations now carry more weight with your subconscious because an emotional element was added to the mix.
Aren't emotions really what our lives are about anyways? So use music as a powerful tool to amplify the effect of the mental game you are playing in your head. Just as repetition is important to such mental exercises so is repetition of the motivating song as well. You might annoy a few people playing the same song over and over, but when you need to summon the emotional intensity to overcome a challenge, that repetition will serve you well because you can conjure up the emotional intensity you need as if the song were playing in the background. This is a perfect opportunity to take your mental game to another level. Don't let it slip away.

When Thomas Edison was asked if he was frustrated by his one thousand attempts at creating the light bulb, he said "I just learned one thousand ways not to do it." He adamantly pursued his dream until the light bulb was created. He didn't think of having failed, he just learned from the experience. The same can be said for his many other inventions and accomplishments.
Lawrence Welk was told by the members of his first band, "The California Fruit Band" that he would never make it as a musician. He couldn't play the accordion, lead an orchestra, or speak fluently. He decided to do short announcements on his television program because his accent was so thick; he hired other musicians to lead his orchestra, and he played the accordion only occasionally on his program. In other words, he figured out ways to work around his obstacles. His family did not back his ambitions out of fear that he may succumb to worldly ways and lose his Catholic faith. Instead, he steadfastly pursued his dream while remaining a faithful practicing Catholic for his entire life.
When Hollywood refused to give Patch Adams the proceeds from the movie "Patch Adams" he and his staff created alternate ways to fund the Gesundheit Institute. They broke ground this year, twelve years after being rejected by Hollywood. A strong sense of creativity, a love of learning, a vibrant humor, and integrate work among staff members have all made his dream a reality.
Helen Keller was blinded and became deaf when she contracted a disease at the age of two. Her whole life was centered around developing her innate strengths and overcoming her handicaps. She didn't do it alone. Her family supported her, she had a wonderful teacher in Anne Sullivan, her training at Ratcliffe was invaluable, and her strong faith in God and in the Swedinborgen movement kept her going.
When I was released from my music therapy internship in Larned, Kansas, I chose to see it as a chance for improvement, not as a failure.
With diligence, work, and a prayerful attitude, obstacles can be overcome. They can then be seen as opportunities.

Believe that you know better than anybody else when it comes to things that involve you. Having the strength to stand your ground is one step to finding that specific purpose you have in life. Avoid confusing your purpose in life to that of the others.
Know yourself better. This is one way to understand who you really are as a person. To do this, try to list down your aspirations as a child, your current ambitions, your frustrations, your anger, your happiness, your disappointments, etc. just write everything you know about yourself. Be totally aware of who and what you are as a person. Understanding yourself will lead you to determining your purpose in life simply by giving you an idea of your interests, your desires, your strengths and weaknesses, your capacities and your capabilities. You should also know what extraordinary things that only you can offer. If you are already sure of your identity, you will be very near to discovering what your purpose in life is.
Keep track of what you are thinking of
Keeping track of everything that crosses your mind is still part of strengthening your self awareness, and listing them down is one way to take your self awareness to the next level. If you list down all the random thoughts that enter your mind, you will soon realize the kind of person that you are, and also the things that you want to achieve. Morbid thoughts might as well define what your purpose in life is. Think of one thing that you do not want to leave undone before you die. Think of things that you want to be associated to you. These simple ideas will help you come near to finding out what your real purpose in life is.
Discover new things about yourself
Expand your knowledge of yourself. At this point in your life, what are the things that you want to try? This will help you discover what makes you happy, pleased, and fulfilled. Knowing your happiness is a step towards discovering your purpose in life.

CREATING AN ACTION PLAN
Ever wonder why some people create goals for themselves, only to see them never materialize. The reason is that they do not take the actions necessary to move toward their goals. Just wanting something is not enough. To get anything in this life you need to take action. The best way to achieve any goal that you set for yourself is by making an action plan.
1. For this exercise you will need a paper and pen. If you're not already keeping a journal this might be an excellent time to start! Write down a goal that you want to make an action plan for. In time you may want to do this for every goal that you are setting. But right now it is best to start with one goal, remember small attainable steps!
2. Now list the things that you will need to do to accomplish this goal. Not sure what it will take to achieve this goal? Then this is the time to get online and do your research. Talk to people who have accomplished your goal, pick up a book. Do whatever it takes to gather all the information. To create your action plan, you must know in detail what it will take to reach your desired goal.
3. Decided on a completion date for your action plan. This is the date that you will accomplish your goal by. It is important to be realistic when setting a time line. If you need X amount of time for continuing your education, acquiring a new skill, or gaining the fitness necessary to accomplish your goal, then you will want to make sure that you factor that in to the date. This is about setting yourself up for success!
4. Break the actions that you need to take to achieve your goal into the months and weeks that lead up to the completion date that you have set. It is important and helpful to have visual weekly & monthly list of actions that you are taking to achieve your goal. This will hold you accountable as well as keep you on your timeline.
5. Refer to your action plan daily during the time you are working towards your goal. Reread what you need to do each day to turn your goal into a reality. Re-evaluate your action plan once a week or month if need be. This step will guarantee you reaching your desired goal by the completion date you set for yourself in step number three.

In my research over the years, I have been interested enough to find out why some people do well at their chosen tasks and others not as well they would like. I have heard many versions of success. For many it is about spending more time with family, having more freedom to do as one chooses and having the lifestyle to match. It is really an individual's choice.
My definition of success is simple. It is to have many happy moments each day. I like that definition because it aligns with simply being present, which means paying full attention to what you choose to happen around you. If you don't like something that happens around you, simply choose to move away. Just delete it. Choose another thought, preferably one that you like.
So, a success principle is the name given to something that we all can physically do to help us be more successful, to help us achieve what we want.
Having gratitude or simply being grateful for the things in your life is a great success principle. It is the first success principle that I use now whenever I choose to do something new. Why? Simply because being grateful starts me attracting positive energy.
Energy plays an integral role in achieving something. Your thinking, the way that you speak about something and the way you do things attracts energy at all times.
Here are three tips to get started in using this success principle.
Tip 1: This sounds obvious but first "Choose to start". What can you be grateful for? At first, you may see little things to be grateful for, but there are many. Get a large piece of paper, the bigger the page the better. Get a pen and write three things at the top of the page that are important to you, and that you really are grateful for. It might simply be for having the ability to read, or run in the park.
What are you good at? Don't say nothing because everyone has the ability to communicate. The art of communicating well is a little forgotten in this busy world we now find ourselves.
Tip 2: Find a quiet place and take 15 minutes to quiet your mind. In this time, allow yourself the opportunity to let your mind wonder, stopping to jot down any thoughts that "pop into your mind" on what you are really grateful for.
Tip 3: Start where you stand. As you begin this process of listing all the things that you are grateful for, you will begin to have pleasant feelings. Positive opportunities will be seen more easily by you.
Bonus Tip From here, you can begin to learn more about energy and how it helps you become more clear about what you like. Just do the first thing that you can do right now. This is how you can start to create your step by step plan to engaging gratitude as part of your daily habits.
Asking questions is a great start to trigger the direction of your thoughts about being grateful because it is your thinking that will help create your vision. From here, your success will grow.

Vision jumping is the process of creating an image in your mind that is pleasing to think about. Once you have created an image that is pleasing to you, you can imagine jumping into the image you created and experience life inside the image you created. You can then go on to do whatever you want after jumping through the image.
This process is similar to a process known as picture jumping, but rather than using a picture to jump through, you create the image you jump through instead. In this way, you can jump into practically any type of environment you wish to experience using your imagination.
Due to the law of attraction, you will actually place yourself in a very good position by doing this as well, because the way you feel is your point of attraction. If you choose a very good feeling image to jump through, and then you create very good feeling experiences for yourself after jumping through the picture, you can set your point of attraction at a very desirable point.
An example of this process goes as follows. Imagine a large open grassy field on a sunny day. Now that you have this image in your mind, imagine actually standing in the grassy field. Now that you are standing in the field, you can do whatever you please. You can even add more to the picture to make the experience more enjoyable.
You can incorporate people you love into the picture, you can add physical structures to the field, or you can stretch your imagination and create more abstract scenarios as you please. The important factor is that you feel good, because the way you feel is your point of attraction.
This is a vibrational Universe. The way you feel is an indicator of how you are personally vibrating. And since like attracts like, when you feel good, you are vibrating at a vibrational frequency that will attract more good feeling thoughts and experiences into your life.
So, the more you can do to make yourself feel good as you vision jump, the better your life will become as a result. To get the most out of this process, it is best that you do it simply for the pleasure the thoughts give you. Each of us has only so much time in the day. We all have 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. It's not wonder that the subject of time management is such a popular one. If you and I can learn to get the most out of our time, we will be learning a true wealth strategy.
Know Your Goals
If you haven't taken the time to figure out our life mission, your vision and purpose, and your goals, please take the time to do so! Once you have your goals in place, you will have the motivation to capture your time effectively. If you have no goals, there is no incentive to manage it well.
Make A List of All the Activities Needed to Accomplish Your Goals
Once you have your goals in mind, take time to write down all the activities, or milestones, for each of your goals. You may end up with a list of 5 or 10 activities. Once those activities are completed, you will have completed your goal.
I keep track of all my activities, or next actions, for each goal in an online website called Toodledo. This website is free, and it also has an iPhone app with which I can sync all my activities at any time. Whether online or offline, have one place where you can keep track of your goals and all the sub-activities that need to be completed for those goals.
Practice A Weekly Review
I find it helpful, as often as possible, to take a couple of reflective hours every Sunday to review my mission, vision/purpose, and goals. I learned from a mentor of mine to ask myself what I have accomplished, where I have fallen short, and how I can learn from both my victories and disappointments.
Then, I think about all my roles: father, husband, counselor, blogger, etc. I like to make sure that I give myself a "next action" for the upcoming week to make sure that I am staying balanced in my pursuits.
Finally, I review my activities list to plug my most important activities into my weekly schedule.
Practice Daily Planning and Review
Here's what you will do: at the end of the day, look over your activities list. Write down your 6 most important things to accomplish tomorrow. The next day, work on the most important task. Don't do anything else until that task is done. Then move on to task #2. You may only get through 3 tasks. That's ok. Take time at the end of the day the next day, and reflect on how you did with managing your time and your day. Write down your 6 most important activities for tomorrow, making sure that you include the 3 tasks left undone from the previous day. Do this every day, and you will know that you are accomplishing what is most important in your day!
Use the Pomodoro Method
This method helps us focus by taking small chunks of time to block out all distractions and do only what is in front of us. Turn off the phone, Twitter, Facebook, and anything else that gets in your way. I like to use E.ggtimer (Google it exactly as I wrote it:), the online clock, to count down from 25 minutes. At the end of the 25 minutes, I take a 5 minute break, then start another 25 minute cycle. At the end of three cycles, I reward myself with a longer 15 minute break.
Use Block Time
I'm currently working on a goal-setting e-book. My day to day life is very busy. I learned, from another mentor of mine, to carve out some block time in the weeks ahead in order to clear everything out of my schedule so that I can crank out a high volume of material. I took three vacation days off from my regular job so that I can have a lot of 2 hour blocks of time to do nothing but PRODUCE!:) During this time, as with the Pomodoro method, I will have my phone, social media, and other interruptions OFF.
I hope you find these tips helpful! If you and I practice these habits consistently, we will be amazed at how much we get done! Not only will we get things done, but we will living effectively, because the things we are getting done will be the goals we have planned for at the outset.

If you have ever read any book or publication on the laws of attraction you must have across the term body in mind. We will however not concentrate much on the laws of attraction but how your mind power can help bring out good leadership qualities and always ensure success in that which you lead. You must reason highly and read the interests and needs of people so that you can address the problems which are in their sub conscious minds which they may even not want to express or show.
Just the way your body has parts which coordinate with each other everyday, your mind has parts which work in cohesion so as to make a decision when you are faced with problems or issues to solve. If the mind parts do not cohere, you will be in a state of limbo when faced with any problems because you will not able to make a choice easily.
Using a conscious or unconscious intention to wield physical effect on world is described by the laws of attraction proponents as applications of mind over that matter. The proponents of this theory believe that the mind of a person is powerful than the world's matters. In addition to the belief, this is also believed to be a process on which one's thoughts can be controlled in a certain pattern. The result of this control is believed to be the capability of achieving any set goals and adjectives easily within the set schedules.
Philosophical language may sometimes may be complex...the meaning of all the foregoing sentences is that everything is possible with mind power. Every person can train the mind to think in particular manner. The best way to initiate success can be attained after achieving activities of body in mind.
To create a situation in which you have a lot of desire, the first step is always controlling your mind and channel all your thoughts and energy towards attaining the set goals and objectives. You have to intensify your passion so that your mind can focus on devising ways and means attaining particular goal. You need superb concentration and a calm mind so as to realize the success of any activity or venture you are undertaking.
You can achieve calm mind through meditation which means a high degree of concentration and self evaluation. Your meditation should centre on the thing to be created for example; academic success, wealth, integral character and basically anything that can be attained. During meditation, you have to weigh options and choose the best depending on the circumstances. You have to train your mind to look for solutions to various issues; so log as you have the mind power, the problems which people term as insoluble will be solved.
You will have no self discrepancies and your mind will have the will to implement that which you have decided as the best. Never be distracted in the process of attaining your goals by the distracting thoughts; focus and get rid of them whenever they strike. When practicing body in mind you should however there are senses which go further than the physical ones we know.
