4 Steps to Making the Impossible Possible

Your mindset is the battery that powers your life. You can't think ordinary thoughts and expect to have an extraordinary existence. Success takes shape in the mind first, so it's important to elevate your mind above the base level of thinking.

Incredible feats will only be impossible to you if you believe they are! I call this the "Wile E. Coyote Factor". This Looney Tunes character, well-known for his relentless pursuit of the Road Runner, is so intent on catching his prey that at times he runs completely off a cliff into thin air. Wile E. Coyote is just fine until he realizes that it's impossible to walk on air, then he falls. The lesson here is that you will always achieve what you believe you can...just don't look down!

So, here are 4 steps to making the "impossible" possible:

1. Set your mind to G.R.E.A.T.ness. Sometimes in our lives we are unable to move forward because we are trying to do new things with an old mentality. We are trying to pour new wine into old wineskins (Mark 2:22). But greatness is a mind set, happiness is a mindset, health is a mindset, wealth is a mindset. In other words, get your mind right. How you think will determine who and what you shall become. Set your mind on being G.R.E.A.T.!

2. Create a "new normal". Living a G.R.E.A.T. life is when you make the uncommon common and when the supernatural becomes a natural occurrence. Train your mind to believe that it is strange to live an unfulfilled life. Get to the point where you are unable to comprehend living beneath your potential. Believe that there is only one way to live, and that's successful and on your own terms.

3. Conjure up a visual image. "Out of sight, out of mind" is a common and true belief. However, "out of mind, out of sight" is more accurate. If there are things in your life that are absent, then develop a consciousness of what it looks like. For example, if you want to be wealthy, observe wealthy people. Ask yourself: How does a wealthy person spend their time? How do they think? What do they do for a living? Where do they go for entertainment? Gather information to create a complete picture in your mind of a wealthy lifestyle. Then begin to align your actions, attitudes, and habits with that visual image.

4. Take action. Once you have a clear mental picture of what you want, begin to align your actions, attitudes, and habits with that visual image. Practice the impossible! Like "Wile E. Coyote" be sure of your vision and clear in your intentions, and keep on running. Turn away from information that attempts to verify that what you are trying to achieve is impossible and abnormal. Set your intention high and don't look down!

If you understand the Universal Law of cause and effect, you can create an image of what you want in your mind. If you can build it in the spiritual world (cause), you can have it in the physical world (effect). There are absolutely no limitations! A G.R.E.A.T. person makes the impossible possible.
