How to Start a Mastermind Group - The Power of Masterminding With Others to Achieve Success

Mastermind groups have been around for more than a half century, but they are still just as powerful as ever in helping you to create the life you want to live. The idea is a simple one. You find a group of like minded people and share ideas on a regular basis. When you meet with these people you form a bond that is more powerful than anything that could be done in a more traditional way.

The best way to form a mastermind is to ask someone you know if they would like to start one. Two people are definitely the beginning of a mastermind. You can have as many people as you like in your group, but limiting it to four or five people will give you the best results.

Hold the members of your group to a commitment of meeting once a week. This is necessary so that everyone benefits and grows over time. You can meet by phone or in person, as long as you meet regularly and support each other.

Set goals and then discuss them with your mastermind members. Two heads are better than one, and several minds are powerful. Over time you will trust your fellow members to give you ideas and suggestions for making significant changes to your life.

Even if you have never heard of this concept before, give it a chance to help you to achieve your goals. Look for groups locally or online and then join one to see if it is right for you. Give it about thirty days before deciding the people in the group are not right for you. Sometimes it just takes time to get to know the other people well enough to trust them with life decisions.
